Experience the farm in person!

Our hands-on farm experiences allow us to showcase the Red Mangalitsas and all of our other farm friends. We will teach you all about the history of the breed, our values and commitment to our animals and what goes in to raising this magnificent breed.

Many don’t understand the dedication and care that goes into raising livestock. Sharing my story I hope to educate everyone about life on the farm and the vital role agriculture plays in their lives.

No two tours are ever alike, as we welcome and say goodbye to some of our farm friends throughout the seasons! Spring is the time we welcome many new farm friends; lambs, chicks, turklettes, quail chicks, ducklings, goslings and who knows what else!

2022 Junior Farmer for a day! (Ages 6-12)

Registration is currently closed for our Junior Farmer for a Day program, stay tuned for any further updates.

Our Junior Farmer for a Day program is an amazing one-on-one farm experience for children to learn what it takes to care for our variety of farm friends.

Your child will LOVE the hands on experience of helping with farm chores, feeding the animals, collecting the eggs, gardening, learning about farm safety and most importantly, where their food comes from and how agriculture plays such an important role in our lives. Highlights

  • Times are 9am-4pm
  • Once registered, a Waiver Form will be emailed to you. Please bring the form completed with your child.
  • Payment must be made via etransfer [email protected].
  • You will get a confirmation email after payment is received. At this point your date will be confirmed
  • Cost is $50/per child
  • An Eh Farms “Farmer in training” t-shirt to keep
  • Lunch will be provided
  • This experience will be outside, so we ask that your child is dressed appropriately for the weather. No open-toed shoes.

NO REFUNDS will be given, however any cancellations will be given a credit for use at a later date or to buy farm products.

We arrived at Eh Farms and were greeted by Christina and her husband, Andy and their dogs. Christina very kindly took the time to not only tour us through her Mangalitsa pig raising …we spent time looking at and learning about her adult pigs and then moved on to the barn where mamas and little piglets were born and raised to start on their life’s journey. We learned so much and are so grateful to Christina and her family. They made us feel so welcome and it is truly a wonderful experience.
